Today I’m sharing an itinerary for the Golden Circle - Iceland’s most famous route, and for good reason. This tour mixes jaw-dropping natural wonders, a bit of history, and some well-earned chill time, all while showing off Iceland’s elemental powers through waterfalls, geysers, and tasty local food straight from our pristine surroundings
The route is a loop and is planned to start and finish back at Midgard Basecamp. That said, Iceland doesn’t mind flexibility — you can start from the opposite end, backtrack, or follow the plan in whatever way fits your adventure best.
