In fact, the city was built by the Romans following the military camp settlement. This means a central square (That we will see later), two perpendicular main streets *Cardo* and *Decumano*, and defensive walls that surround the city.\nLooking at the southern part of the plaza from this point you will actually be able to observe one piece of the ancient wall. Another building that you observe it's the **Palazzo Della Gran Guardia**, this is actually a very beautiful historical building, used mainly for expositions. If you are interested in art or photography, you could also be lucky, or if you are not, you should simply enter the main hall and admire it. \nThen if you look at the eastern part of the plaza you will see the city town hall, (Not so fun fact) this is generally the principal spot for protests. With its 84m, is one of the highest buildings in the city center, and will give you a 365 view on it.
