The colours in the sunlight. Such a lovely Sunday. I have been to Venice many times and had extra time. Don't rush and do the combined island tour. Pick one. I chose Burano and spent a half day at leisure walking around, soaking up the atmosphere, having a coffee and doing a bit of shopping. Plan your day with the times of the water bus. It takes about 45 minutes to F.Te Nove or 1 hour if you want to go to San Marco. For San Marco, boats are less frequent I believe (every hour). Burano is really small and easy to walk. You can't get lost.
