In this section you will find the local landmark, the Bondi Pavilion; It was a dressing room for up to 3000 bathers in its heyday. Today, it is being renovated to restore its former glory. On the sand in front of the Pavilion is the lifeguard station, made famous by Bondi Rescue. It is the center of rescue operations and also a first aid station.\n\nIf you plan to spend the day at the beach, this is where I would suggest you to set up. And with food in Sydney being so expensive, it would be nice if we could cook our own meals if we wanted to save some money. Hate joining the bandwagon here, but it's really a must on any itinerary. The pool at the club is somehow right under the ocean! The view from the top of the club looking down is very beautiful.\n\nGrab a drink at the bar, or do what we did and head to the cafe on the second floor first morning.
