It is legendary in the cycling world with its all-round challenge.\n\nThis makes the 7km trail a must for any mountain biker to visit.\n\nOpened in 1997, this trail is all-weather thanks to its hard, well-drained surface and is primarily geared toward experienced cross-country bikers.\n\nIt winds its way through a lush inner-city jungle with tropical trees and forest canopy, providing a thrill to each of its twists.\n\nInexperienced riders should easily make this trip.\n\nBut there are multi-level trails in some sections, offering blue diamond (newbie), black (expert) and dual black diamond (pole) routes and also easy double track options than.\n\nBukit Timah is located in the same larger central green buffer zone as Chestnut Nature Park, and many riders combine the two trail areas to create a tough day of riding, stopping for lunch between the two.\n\nThere's also a good bike shop near the BT trailhead, so you can rent quality bikes or pick up bike parts here. To enhance the biodiversity of the area, a wetland area has also been developed next to the boardwalk.\n\nWith water depths ranging from 50 mm to 1,500 mm, the wetland area has been designed to attract different types of birds and wildlife."}]}]
