Explore Jongno-gu in a Day
Jongno starts from Sejong-ro and stretches all the way to Dongdaemun. The area is one of the more notable commercial centres of Seoul in which tradition and modernity coexist. The name originated from 'jong,' meaning bell, that was used to announce the opening and closing of the gates to Hanyang during the Joseon Dynasty.
