They met on the bridge with the young local ladies, promised them a lot, and they were left waiting in vain for the men who forgot about them and the vows of love.\n- According to another legend, several fairs were held in the Small Square in Sibiu, and when they got home, some buyers realized that they had been fooled. They would return to the market and take the lying merchants by the chest and, in the laughter of the crowd, throw them off the bridge.
