Sculpture still exist on the exterior of the structure and the church is still used. From here get into the heart of the old city of Molfetta. The streets are designed in a fish skeleton fashion. There is a public beach behind IL DUOMO di San Corrado....so take a swimsuit. This tower located in the heart of the Old City was a defensive tower built in the 1500's and housed at least 3 cannons. The structure has been carefully restored and the stone cleaned. If you lay on the floor you can see out the windows to Giovinazzo in one direction. Where another tower would have been.
