It is the iconic scene that everyone wants and so you will be very hard pressed to take a photograph without any one else being in it. Visit once as that is all it warrants in my opinion! We considered that Little Venice was just the stretch of buildings that abutted the sea and so we visited just to be able to see what the fuss was about and we were suitably disappointed. The construction of the complex began in 1425, with it being finished in the 17th century. This part of the port is mainly used by the boats on day trips and, when the wind is blowing, it can get quite rough, even within the protective walls. Our day trip boat from Paros rocked about quite a bit both when we arrived and also when we departed.
