The Canadian Indigenous gallery was really well done. The Hispanic and European galleries were very nice. They also had a kids art appreciation event that day. The docent that led our tour was quite knowledgeable. I had visited aquariums in other parts of the world and I was not quite sure about this. There are numerous superlatives that can be used to describe the experience.\n\nThe design of the aquarium lets the visitor feel as if they are actually walking the ocean. But St. Lawrence has A LOT going for it, and it's pretty great in its own right. Especially if you love meats ... there are loads of meat shops, and you can get a pretty good peameal sandwich here (that's a form of bacon, kind of between American and Canadian bacon, on a yummy roll). St. Lawrence has great food, including fresh seafood, local honey, Canadian wines, souvenirs and plenty of cheese shops. It could use a little diversity, but it's fun and fabulous.
