In this guide I will tell you how to get there, what to do and where to eat! \n\nFirst things first: transportation 🚌 🚗 \n\nIf you have the possibility to go by cat I would highly recommend doing that as there are so many beautiful spots to stop on the way. \nDepending on where you stay the drive will take around an hour. \n\nIf you do not have the possibility to go by car the bus is a great option. You can find a direct bus from Athens city center all the way down to the temple of Poseidon. Once you walk your way up to the temple you will pass the ‘Naos café’ where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the temple while having a Greek frappe, drink or snack. \n\nAlright, time to get up to the temple! While walking your way up you will pass the ticket office where you get your tickets for €10,-. After a little walk you will reach the temple with an amazing view over the Aegean Sea! 🏛\n\nThe area around the temple is quite big and nice to have a walk around, admire this wonderful piece of history and enjoy the view.\n\nSome small facts: \nDid you know the temple of Poseidon is the most south point of the region of Attica? And it is roughly 2500 old? Make sure you secure yourself a table next to the sea or even ON the beach at some restaurants. \n\nAnd the food?
